Photo Gallery | Sneak Peak at this Year's Capital Home Show: A Spotlight on Miracle Method, A Local Refinishing Company

Fairfax-based surface restoration company, Miracle Method, is getting ready to showcase some of their work at next weekend's Capital Home Show at the Dulles Expo Center. The show runs from Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25 and will feature endless new and exciting ideas for home projects.

Laurie Redfearn, Owner of Miracle Method, is one of 200 exhibitors at this year's fall show. Miracle Method will be showcasing all types of refinishing including bathtub displays, shower pan and tile, kitchen and bathroom countertops, cultured marble vanities, shower doors, and more. They will also have a display of their Washington Capitals claw foot tub (see photo gallery), but they can do any custom team colors and logo you want!  Refinishing is better than replacing, according to Redfearn, because it "saves the customer time and money with no demolition or damage to surrounding surfaces. Miracle Method will have bathtubs, tile walls, vanities, and kitchen countertops updated and looking like new in just 2-3 days." And you don't have to worry about refinishing it year after year. "Our process is durable, extending fixture life for 15-20 years or more," she added.  Beyond that, refinishing can save money and is less strain on the environment than replacement. Miracle Method's bathtub refinishing can save up to 75% of total replacement cost and produces very little waste. Check out the Miracle Method exhibit at the Expo Center next weekend!
