Metropolitan School of the Arts Summer Registration Open

If hip-hop, tap, jazz, ballet, guitar, percussion and theatre are passions for your child, check out the many summer programs at Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Alexandria and Lorton, Va. MSA brings instructors from around the U.S, offering top-of-the-line instruction and camps to their youngest students, to teens polishing their craft.  Registration is open now for summer classes starting in July. Both drivers charged with DUI in Va. crash


CHANTILLY, Va. (WUSA9) -- After an investigation into a crash on Wednesday, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office authorities say deputies discovered both drivers involved in the collision were driving under the influence.

Officials say deputies in the area of Tall Cedars Parkway and Loudoun County Parkway in Chantilly at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, heard the sound of a loud crash. They then spotted a vehicle traveling north on Loudoun County Parkway with front -end damage. Officials say they stopped the car and a lookout was issued for a second vehicle.

The driver of the first car, 41-year-old Karin J. Keswani of Aldie, was charged with DUI, say officials. they tell us it was his second DUI in five years.

Lhotka has been the City of Manassas refuse and recycling coordinator since 1995 and assisted with the management and oversight of solid waste management programs for Manassas including the residential refuse and recycling contracts. Tim Federle, Broadway Performer and Author Visits Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria

Tim Federle is best known for working on the choreography for Broadway’s Billy Elliott, performing in Broadway’s Little Mermaid, and he most recently wrote Amazon’s Best Book of Jan. 2014, Five, Six, Seven, Nate. Federle is coming to Northern Virginia, teaching “Tips and Tricks to Nail a Broadway Dance Audition” at MSA’s Alexandria studio at 5775 Barclay Drive on Wed., Feb. 5 for middle and high school students from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Workshops are open for advanced dance, theatre and music students.
